Summer Party 2026Before FoxBooth existed, we were out at events with our own photo booths. Using software that looked great in the office and hit its limits in the ballroom at night. Every feature in FoxBooth is an answer to a moment we lived through there.
The camera falls asleep, and nobody notices.
Before you start, FoxBooth checks the camera, batteries, memory card and printer, and reports problems to the Studio right away. If the camera still fails to fire, the iPad camera can step in. Either way, your guests get their photo.
Every camera setting means unscrewing the photo booth.
You can set ISO, aperture, shutter speed and white balance right on the iPad. The photo booth stays closed, and your guests never notice a thing.
The venue Wi-Fi goes down.
The photo booth simply keeps going: it takes photos, prints and shows the QR code. Uploads resume as soon as the connection is back, in the breaks between guests.
Guests are waiting because uploading slows everything down.
The photos for your guests go out first and fast. The large originals follow only when nobody is using the photo booth.

The Studio is your dashboard in the browser. Here you can set up events, design layouts and see in real time how your photo booths are doing.
As a German company, we know how much data protection matters, to you and to your clients. Corporate clients ask more and more often: where do the photos end up, and when are they gone again? With FoxBooth you can show the answer in black and white, without writing legalese yourself. Privacy by design, from the first shot to the last deletion.
Your guests deserve more than a tablet snapshot. With FoxBooth you can connect your DSLR, mirrorless or compact camera directly via USB-C and control it from the iPad, with a live image and all the key settings right in the app. The photo booth stays closed, and you never have to take anything apart to reach your camera.
The guest view is allowed to shine. It can take on the colours of your event, guide your guests through every step without explanation, and speak their language.
FoxBooth doesn't need internet at the event. You can always take photos, print and show QR codes. As soon as the connection is back, the photo booth catches up on uploads by itself, and your guests' gallery fills up.

In the layout editor you can choose paper, arrangement, logo, frame and text. What you see in the Studio is exactly what comes out of the printer. Logos and frames can appear on photos, GIFs and prints.
From Starter, your guest pages and gallery can carry only your branding, with no mention of us. Your team can work with their own roles, and every remote action is logged.

DSLRs, mirrorless and compact cameras from Canon and Sony via USB-C. Nikon and Lumix are coming soon. Without an external camera, FoxBooth uses the iPad's built-in camera, for example to get started or as a backup. You can check whether your camera works on the free plan.
Let us know which model you use. If you'd like to use FoxBooth on a subscription, we'll take care of adding support for your model. That way the list of supported cameras grows with our customers.
FoxBooth runs on any iPad with iPadOS 16.4 or later, which covers almost every iPad since 2017 and every iPad Pro. An iPad with USB-C works best: the camera plugs straight into the iPad, and newer models handle background swap and the beauty filter especially smoothly. On an iPad with a Lightning port, you connect the camera through Apple’s USB camera adapter.
Any printer with AirPrint. You can set paper and layout in the Studio, and FoxBooth takes care of the queue, copies and reprints.
No. Taking photos, printing and QR codes all work offline. Uploads happen as soon as a connection is available again.
Yes. With Pro you can run up to three photo booths at once, with Business up to ten. The dashboard shows them all at a glance, so you always know where things are running smoothly and where you might want to step in.
On servers in Germany, in private storage. Guests can only reach their photos through their personal link. A gallery for everyone exists only if you switch it on, password-protected if you like. After the period you set, FoxBooth deletes the photos automatically.
Yes. You can create an account in the Studio and try all Pro features with one photo booth for 14 days. You don't need any payment details, and the trial ends on its own. During the trial, prints and guest pages carry our small “Made with FoxBooth” note. Afterwards you can keep using the free plan or choose a bigger one.
It's easy: you can cancel your plan at the end of the month or year. After that you simply keep using FoxBooth for free. Your photos won't disappear overnight, because every event keeps the storage period you set.
Very soon. You can already use the Studio and prepare your first event. As soon as the app is out, you can pair your iPad with a code.
Not yet, but we're working on it. FoxBooth launches on iPad, and a version for Android tablets is in development. The dashboard already runs in any browser today.
